My daugther had been using a cheap Generic iron, but after one of use of this I donated it to goodwill. This BaByliss Nano does not catch, makes hair soft, shiny and straight, and is reasonably priced. Win-win-win!

After I did a ton of research on hair straighteners before choosing the BaByliss Nano. This was the iron with the most 5 stars and amazon offered it at an amazing price. My mom has the most gorgeous curls but of course she hates it and wants to straighten them. (We always want the opposite of what the Lord gives us.) So far it seems to work really well. It gets very hot and glides right through her hair. Even though the titanium seems to help it glide right through I still recommend using a flat iron spray to protect your hair from the heat.
